Your krew is in the middle of fighting . Taking on Rusalki starts over: that fight and its event log are cleared, and your kitties keep the owies, injuries and treats already on their sheets.

The rusalki live in bodies of water and look like human women. People in Fantastica sometimes mistake them for mermaids, to which they take great offense. They don't even have tails! Rusalki get into territorial disputes with mer-people frequently since both are water-dwelling creatures. Even though they don't have tails, rusalki are restricted when it comes to going on land because a rusalka must always be touching the water in some way. (They suffer an Owie if forced to leave the water entirely.) Most rusalki live in the Kingdom of Dolls, and they sometimes do the bidding of Baba Yaga.

  • •Slippery Skin: The rusalka's skin becomes so slippery no one can hold onto her.
  • •Tickle: The tickled kitty can't do anything but squirm for one turn.
  • •Magic Hair: A kitty becomes entangled in their hair and must make a Fierce check to escape.

Adventure ingredients

  • Rusalki vs. Mer-people: A clan of rusalki and a clan of mer-people are in an endless fight over who can claim a particular river as their home. Anyone crossing the water is likely to be pulled into their fight.
  • Favors for Baba Yaga: If Baba Yaga ever wants to get ahold of the kitties, the kitties better be careful by water. Rusalki can be very quiet and sneaky, and it can be nearly impossible to tell that they're not just some humans resting by the water.
