Magic mirrors come in different shapes, but they all allow their owners to communicate and sometimes see across great distances. Some are merely tools, while others are fully self-aware beings. If a powerful magic mirror decides it wants to spy on a kitty's activity, they'll be able to do it no matter where the kitty is unless they're blocked by magic. Many magic mirrors will ally with anyone who claims them as their property, whether that's by paying for them or stealing them.

  • •Alert Owner: The mirror alerts its owner to the presence of the kitties.
  • •Frightening Image: The mirror shows the kitty a terrifying image, causing them to run away unless they pass a Fierce check.
  • •False Image: The mirror shows the kitty a false image of a friend in danger, distracting them unless they pass a Cunning check.
  • •Call Reinforcements: The mirror contacts other mirrors in order to call for backup.

Adventure ingredients

  • Seven Years Bad Luck: The kitties break the mirror and each of them suffers a different curse as a result. They might be able to reverse them all at once if they can find a way to repair the mirror.
  • Watched: The kitties' every move is being watched through a mirror by an enemy. How can they win when their opponent knows exactly what they're up to and has time to prepare?
