Out of all the sea monsters that live in the Silver Sea, there is none more feared than the kraken. Krakens resemble giant squids, and while people used to believe there was only one in the Silver Sea, there are actually at least three. These monsters have appetites that match their size, which is why they go after ships thinking that they're whales. Sadly for those ships, krakens are more than capable of snapping most seafaring vessels in two. While not as tasty as a whale, these sea monsters will also settle for eating humans, mer-people, and kitties if that's what's available.

- •Vicious Suckers: Causes one Owie to three kitties.
- •Beak: Causes three Owies to one kitty.
- •Crushing Tentacles: Badly damages the seafaring vessel the kitties are on.
- •Whirlpool: The kraken sinks into the sea very quickly and creates a whirlpool that sucks in everything nearby.
Adventure ingredients
- Taming a Kraken: The mer-people want to tame a kraken and care for it in exchange for it protecting the Kingdom of Salt. It's never been done before, but the mer-people think a little friendly kitty magic might work… if they can even get close to the kraken!
- An Indestructible Ship: Sinbad and several of the best shipwrights in the Kingdom of Sails have decided to make a ship that is so strong, it can't be destroyed by the kraken. Someone needs to help get enchanted materials, and then the experiment needs to be put to the test.
