Fey Folk

Fey folk look like graceful, willowy-limbed human children, but that's an illusion — they're visitors from the Fairylands, not natives of our world. Each fey has its own unique “nature,” a kind of promise it has made to reality that drives how it acts, usually to some extreme — and a fey must keep any promise it makes.

Kitties should be wary around fey folk and never make a promise to one, take a fey's gift, or eat fey food (which the fey treat as swearing a vow), nor be rude, try to command a fey, or break a promise — all of which enrages them.
