City rats are smart and sneaky. They have to be to survive in a place like Sunset City! While many of the rats here make their home in Rat City down in the subway system and sewers, some prefer to go it alone on the streets. Some even manage to get adopted as pets by humans, especially if a kind human finds one injured. These pampered rats often get made fun of by their peers because of the life of luxury they live.

  • •Chew: The rat breaks something important by chewing through an essential part.
  • •Chomp: Causes 1 Owie.
  • •Hitch a Ride: The rat jumps onto a bigger critter unnoticed and gets carried off wherever they’re going.
  • •Flee: The kitty must pass any Attribute check, or the rat scurries away.

Adventure ingredients

  • Shifting Alliances: Sometimes the city pigeons and city rats decide to ally with each other for a cause. Other times they get into turf wars because they want to claim contested territory for themselves. When this happens, kitties who work with one side have a hard time getting the other side to cooperate.
